This is perhaps the only book that makes more extensive reference to internal factors and classifies in such detail the theory of attack and defense as well as the circuits of neutralization that come into play when performing the techniques in Aikido. The book has been praised for it’s many illustrations (over 1200) and the text focuses heavily on the moral aspect of aikido, dividing violent encounters into ethical levels.
